Behind the scenes

  • The flashback depicts Dr. Zin wearing Ahmed Kareem's clothes, from the Jonny Quest episode "The Curse of Anubis".
  • Dr. Zin reveals that Dr. Quest has died.
  • For all intents and purposes, The Venture Bros. exists in the same world as Jonny Quest, but due to the limitations set upon the producers by Cartoon Network, Bandit is now Buddy and also looks different, Hadji/Rajni is dressed as a stereotypical Native American, and there's an unnamed character protecting Johnny, who is presumably Race, but has red hair like Dr. Quest, and his top is white.
  • Ro-Boy was adopted by Dr. Zin in "Self-Medication".
