Development
Despite already appearing for two episodes as a regular dog, Dino is suddenly given an "origin", one which doesn't even fit. He now has a full range of vocabulary and talks in the same mannerisms as comedian and actor Phil Silvers. In his next appearance, he reverts back to his previous self and the Phil Silvers Dino is never referred back to.
Behind the scenes
- In this episode, the company Fred works for is identified as Rockhead & Quarry Cave Construction Co.
- Mrs. Stonehead and Junior are not that different from Mrs. Roxy and Junior in "The Engagement Ring".
