The Adventures of Robin Hoodnik is an American animated comedy-adventure television movie, based on the English folklore of the legendary heroic outlaw Robin Hood. It aired on November 4, 1972 on ABC who promoted it as a "Saturday Superstar Movie." It was written by Jack Mendelsohn, produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera, and voice directed by Alex Lovy.

The anthropomorphized band of Merry Men led by Robin Hoodnik must save Maid Marian from the clutches of Lord Scurvy, who has forced her hand in marriage with a love potion.

A year later Walt Disney Pictures released Robin Hood, their own more memorable and celebrated anthropomorphized reindition of Robin Hood, who was a fox, and humans did not co-exist with human-like animals.

Errors

In the first scene Robin's Band Wagon is seen, the sign is missing an apostrophe.
When Oxxy is first seen back at the castle after pretending to be Robin Hoodnik, he is still in his Robin Hoodnik disguise, which must've been intended as it switched back to his regular uniform when the camera moved closer to him.
Despite being called Scurvy Manor, a letter calls it Scurvy Castle, which is probably more accurate.
