I was actually thinking "Tackles" was possibly an early name for the character, but then I found out Peter Puck (who was also in the picture) was made at least around 1976. Muttley
Basically another Muttley. There are multiple Muttley-like dogs in the HB universe, even before Muttley himself was even thought of. The Muttley lineup dates back all the way from The Huckleberry Hound Show when the first ever villainous/snickering dog was introduced. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:44, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Early name
I was actually thinking "Tackles" was possibly an early name for the character, but then I found out Peter Puck (who was also in the picture) was made at least around 1976.
