A Super Shaggy Sandwich is a highly-stacked food item that Shaggy Rogers made in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode, "Hassle in the Castle."
Description
It is described by Shaggy as a double-triple-Decker, sardine and marshmallow-fudge sandwich,[1] although it only appears to have some greens with an olive decorated on top. Based on what other food was left in the table next to him, it is implied to have the following ingredients:
- Sliced bread
- Ham
- Cheese
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Lettuce
- Sardines
- Marshmallows
- Fudge
- Olive on top
History
While the Mystery Gang go on boating in a fog, Velma accidentally wakes Shaggy up while stating about the weather. Instead of sleeping, Shaggy decides that he will rather fix a special sandwich of his own liking. He then creates a Super Shaggy Sandwich inside the boat, but when he prepares to eat it, Scooby bites the whole thing while Shaggy wasn't looking. Shaggy thinks to himself that the olive was left, but that too was also eaten by Scooby.[1]
