Puttin' on the Dog is the sixteenth animated theatrical short of the Tom and Jerry series. It was distributed by Metro-Goldywn-Mayer on October 28, 1944. It was produced by Fred Quimby, and written and directed by series creators, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.

Jerry hides from Tom in a dog pound, so Tom puts on a plastic dog head to get in.
