The first one was the third incarnation of the Doctor from the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, from 1970 to 1974, and the title character of Worzel Gummidge on ITV from 1979-1981, and again on Channel 4 when they revived it as Worzel Gummidge Down Under between 1987 to 1989. The 1996 TV movie of Doctor Who was dedicated to him.
