"Joining of the Knights" is the first episode of Arabian Knights season one. It aired as part of The Banana Splits Adventure Hour on September 7, 1968 on NBC.
When Bakaar's forces invade Baghdad, Prince Turhan is forced to flee to get help from his cousin in another state. Along the way, he encounters other freedom fighters, who, after their escape, form the Arabian Knights.
