"Fred's New Boss" is the second episode of The Flintstones season three, and the sixty-second overall. It aired on September 21, 1962 on ABC. Barney tries to get a new job in the quarry with the help of his pal Fred, but this leads to him quickly becoming the boss of Mr. Slate's company.
