Cocoa Pebbles is part of a brand of breakfast cereal manufactured by Post Consumer Brands, based on the TV series The Flintstones. It was first sold on the West Coast in 1970, and went nationwide in October 1971.
It contains chocolate-flavored crisp rice cereal bits with sugar.
Commercials usually revolve around Barney trying to steal Fred's Cocoa Pebbles.
It had an in-universe "Stone Age" cameo in the 1994 live-action film The Flintstones.
In 2010, Hulk Hogan sued Post for defamation and exploiting his name without his permission after including a character called Hulk Boulder in its "Cocoa Smackdown" commercial.
