Template:Infobox actor Alan Reed was an American voice actor. He worked for the Hanna-Barbera animation production company where he was best known for originating the voice of Fred Flintstone.

Shortly after recording his lines as Fred Flintstone for the Laff-A-Lympics episode "The Swiss Alps and Tokyo, Japan", Reed suffered from a heart attack and died on June 14, 1977 at the age of 69. Fred's later roles after Reed's death were done by his successor Henry Corden.
