"Lamb-Basted Wolf" is the third episode of Hokey Wolf season one. It aired as a segment of The Huckleberry Hound Show. It first aired on September 25, 1961 in first run syndication. It was written by Warren Foster, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
After Hokey reads Ding-a-Ling the story of "The Boy who Cried Wolf", Hokey uses the idea to nab some sheep from the farmer, but his plans backfire on him.
