    • Aside from his strong resemblance to actor, Walter Matthau, he also bares some resemblance to Fred Flintstone.
  • According to a 1982 calendar, Ed was born on September 25, although it's suggested by Bubba in the episode, "A Sticky Affair" that Ed's birthday was actually somewhere in May.
