Roger Rankle is a villain who only appeared in the Laff-A-Lympics Marvel Comics story "Trouble at the Track Meet".
Character description
The players were unhappy when the network fired Snagglepuss and Mildew and brought Rankle in to replace them. Eventually, Yogi went to the studio in disguise and got the network to make Rankle the star of a new TV series, clearing the way for the former announcers to come back.

Behind the scenes
- He seems to be a parody of Howard Cosell, a sportscaster famous for his abrasive style.
- Mike Walnuts from the Yogi's Treasure Hunt episode "20,000 Leaks Under the Sea" bares some similarities to Roger, only Roger wasn't altogether villainous compared to Mike and Roger was more played off as just a "jerk".
