Clue Club is an American animated mystery comedy TV series produced by Hanna-Barbera (H-B) for ABC's Saturday morning children's programming. It ran in 1976, airing 16 episodes. It was the eighth Scooby-Doo "clone" series.
The series' main purpose was to recreate the success of the Scooby-Doo franchise, like most other Scooby "clones", the series followed a group of teens solving mysteries followed by a few jokes from the mascot(s) of the group.
From 1977 to 1978, the Skatebirds featured a series of shorter, cut down versions of regular Clue Club episodes, entitled Woofer & Wimper, Dog Detectives, in which, Woofer and Wimper are presented as the main characters.
The Clue Club would later appear in the Jellystone! episode "A Coconut to Remember" in which, Woofer is voiced by C.H. Greenblatt.
