"The Robot Spy" is the eighth episode of Jonny Quest season one. It aired on November 6, 1964 on ABC. It was written by William D. Hamilton, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.
Doctor Zin sends a large, four-legged spider robot to a government research facility in the American Southwest, to steal the secrets of a ray gun on which Doctor Quest is working.
