The New Fred and Barney Show is an American animated comedy television series produced by Hanna-Barbera for NBC. It ran from 1980 to 1981, airing 18 episodes that spanned two seasons; the second season episodes were packaged with The Thing to be released under the banner of Fred and Barney Meet the Thing. It is a spin-off of The Flintstones, and the fourth incarnation of the Flintstones franchise.
