Although it isn't entirely canon, in "Deathstroke/Yogi Bear Special" it was revealed that the Creepleys founded the Laff-a-Lympics. The real founder remains unknown and considering William, Joseph and most of the crew are dead, we may never know. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:36, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

Even if it looks similar, I didn't copy a single line from elsewhere. I wrote this entire article in my own words. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 01:39, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Of course, I do write in my own words with almost every article I make. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 07:30, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Picture

It sucks that we can't get a picture with all of the Yahooeys in one place in any episode. Yet that picture from the intro has all of the members in it. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 17:18, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

HKP and Spot

Hong Kong Phooey and Spot were originally going to be referees.[1] -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:03, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

That's amazing! That definitely would've mixed things up a little, I hope. A friend here, AlexandraCabot, pointed out to me that HKP probably replaced Jeannie. -- MisterJames (talk) 22:39, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
He actually did replace Jeannie as early arts of the Scooby Doobies showed Jeannie instead of HKP. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 22:51, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

Canon?

Is LaL actually canon to their own shows? Tell me what you think about this. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 00:25, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

In the film "Yogi Bear and the Magical Flight of the Spruce Goose", when Dread Baron and Mumbly first see Yogi and the others they don't refer to the times they've been in the Laff-a-Lympics, most likely meaning they've meant before the events of LaL. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 00:30, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Probably not. Even less likely for Scooby-Doo. But who knows if Warner Bros. will decide to retcon that one day. Yogi's Space Race and Galaxy Goof-Ups have the same problem. -- MisterJames (talk) 13:17, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
The issue with the HB universe is that they tend to "reset it". For an example in The Flintstones Christmas Party, this is treated like it's the first time Augie and Daddy met the other HB characters despite them meeting before. I wouldn't really consider any of the crossover series canon unless they actually have some kind of connection. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 19:39, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Yogi Bear's All-Star Christmas Caper also has the Hanna-Barbera characters meet for the first time, despite the fact they were already brought together before that in Yogi's First Christmas. I mean, it has "FIRST Christmas" in the title (and that's not even counting the "Yogi's Birthday Party" at least). What gets me, is that Mark Evanier watched those shorts as a kid and he wrote the comics, so then have them not recognise each other, is just so bizarre. -- MisterJames (talk) 03:32, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Season two

Let's hope one day, WB will decide to release LaL season two onto DVD since we got season one. I did see season two episodes on the boomerang app though. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 22:54, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

Although it isn't entirely canon, in "Deathstroke/Yogi Bear Special" it was revealed that the Creepleys founded the Laff-a-Lympics.
