Behind the scenes

  • This is the eighth Downton Abbey-inspired short.
  • The owners of the manor are revealed to belong to the House of Postlewaite, while the manor itself is called Postlewaite Manor, named after producer Ashley Postlewaite. Legally, the producers found out that they weren't allowed to do this, but it was already too late.
  • Rachael MacFarlane, who just about makes a murmur in the episode, is credited for playing a female gentry, which is actually her recurring role as the Duchess.
