"To Ork or Not to Ork" is the third episode of Mork & Mindy season one. It aired on October 9, 1982 on ABC. It was written by Michael Mauer, and directed by Len Jenson and Rudy Larriva, and Alan Dinehart.

Mork is ordered to learn about human love, which leads to him getting jealous of Mindy and Hamilton when they are cast in the lead roles of Romeo & Juliet.

  • Mork kisses the librarian as if it isn't inappropriate move between a teenager (which he is supposed to be here) and an adult.
  • The Fonz from Happy Days is treated as a fictional character, even though the live-action version of Mork originally appeared in Happy Days. Although that was later edited out.
  • Mork mentions the film Saturday Night Fever, although he calls it Saturday Night Pneumonia.
