It is a clip show comprised of scenes from all thirteen episodes from the first season, and the first four from the second season.

The theme song was composed by Matt Muhoberac and John Zucker, with the special's music composed by Muhoberac and with Randall Crissman and Nick Brown added to the latter. Bodie Chandler was director of music production.

Behind the scenes
- The special was made as a lead-in to the second season, but wasn't aired until after the season finished its broadcast. It features the only time a SWAT Kats episode was written by a non-regular writer/director of the series, Nancy Podbielnak.
