The Pirates of Dark Water is an American limited action-fantasy comic book series by Marvel Comics who published nine issues from 1991 to 1992. It is based on the The Pirates of Dark Water TV series that aired from 1991 to 1993. They were written by Dwight Zimmerman, and drawn by Bruce Zik for the first six issues, and Rob Davis for the next three.
Production
It was originally planned to run six issues, then by fan demand, it was extended to nine.
