The Adventures of Don Coyote and Sancho Panda is an American animated adventure television series produced by Hanna-Barbera in association with RAI, for syndication on stations that took part in The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera programming block. It ran from 1990 to 1991, airing 26 episodes that spanned two seasons.
Loosely based on the 17th century novelist Cervantes's Don Quixote, the title character and his sidekick, Sancho Panza, are anthropomorphized into a coyote and panda named Don Coyote and Sancho Panda, respectively. The two are would-be chivalrous swordsmen, who travel the land seeking out injustice, although their quest is hampered by the delusional Don, who's either too stupid or mentally unstable to see who the good guys are and who the bad guys are.
