With character pages that begin with "Dr." like this one, I'm not sure if we should be using the abbreviation or the entire word. Episodes are never consistent, they've also used both. With using "Dr." I'm also thinking on whether "Lt.", "Sgt.". or "Cmmdr," is acceptable, instead of using "Lieutenant," "Sergeant," or "Commander." -- MisterJames (talk) 19:46, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Then should we do renaming for characters like Sergeant Flint, who could be renamed to "Sgt. Flint". -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:31, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
I think we should go with the full spelling. It's very easy to just say "Dr." and even "Lt." (because the latter is just too hard of a word to always remember how to spell), but I think overall the full spelling looks better and something I would like to encourage more of (here more than anyplace else). -- MisterJames (talk) 22:02, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
But then what about "Mister" and "Misses"? Perhaps in those cases, "Mr." and "Mrs." are acceptable. -- MisterJames (talk) 22:03, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Well since Jinks' name was spelled as "Mr. Jinks" officially, we can't do much there anyway. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 22:08, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
LOL, no. You know, officially, it's always been Doctor Doom, but every cartoon that has ever been made has spelled his name as "Dr. Doom". -- MisterJames (talk) 22:12, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
