"Take Me Out to the Ball Game" is the thirty-second episode of The Flintstones season two, and the sixtieth overall. It aired on April 20, 1962 on ABC. It was written by Larry Markes, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the creators of the series and the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.
Fred unwillingly becomes a referee of a Little League umpire and tries prepare them for an upcoming game.

- As per the episode title, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" is an early-20th century Tin Pan Alley song traditionally sung during the seventh-inning stretch of a baseball game.
- The title may have also been an allusion to the 1949 Frank Sinatra film of the same name.
