The Turner Network Television, better known as simply TNT, is an American basic cable television network. It first launched in 1988, and was owned by Turner Network Television from 1988 to 1995, but was later acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery Networks, who currently owns the channel today. Since 2001, the channel has since shifted its focus on more dramatic programming.
