SuperTed is the main protagonist of The Further Adventures of SuperTed animated television series. To appeal to both its American and British audiences, SuperTed was voiced by Danny Cooksey and Derek Griffiths, respectively.

Biography
Development
SuperTed was created by Welsh animator and writer Mike Young in 1978, to help his son overcome his fear of the dark.[1] The character first appeared in a series of children's books, and then made his on-screen appearence in his own animated series by Young's production company, Siriol Animation, which ran from 1982 to 1986.
