Jonny Quest is an American action/adventure comic book series by Comico who published 31 issues from 1986 to 1988. It is based on the Jonny Quest television series which aired from 1964 to 1965. The comic came at a time when Hanna-Barbera revived the TV series, although this was rather short-lived in comparison, with the comic proving to be more faithful than Hanna-Barbera themselves could provide, not just with the action, but the characterizations and connections to its predecessor.

Production

Comico acquired the license from Hanna-Barbera to publish a comic book series based on the TV series for only two years (which included sister titles), but low sales prevented any point of renewal.
