Behind the scenes
- The episode title is an allusion to the 1993 film Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, a remake of the 1963 film The Incredible Journey. While the story does play on that theme, the villains make it more of a parody of the 1961 film One Hundred and One Dalmations; all these films were released by Disney.
