Fantastic Max is an American animated fantasy television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions, airing in syndication. It ran from 1988 to 1990, airing 26 episodes spanning two seasons.

The series was originally featured as part of The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera syndicated block.

The working title was Space Baby as featured in the pre-series pilot called "From Here to Twinkle, Twinkle," which was produced and animated by Siriol Animation in 1986, and aired on December 30, 1987 on BBC1. The episode was then reworked and reanimated by Hanna-Barbera in 1988, was later reworked as the thirteenth and final episode of the first season.

The music was composed by Clark Gassman and Michael Tavera.

Between 1989 to 1991, BBC Video released the first season across four VHSes volumes with three episodes each: The Loon in the Moon, Attack of the Cubic Rubes, Cooking Mother's Goose, and The Baby Who Fell to Earth. Their collection does omit "From Here to Twinkle, Twinkle," however.

In 1991, Kids Tempo Club also released a single season two episode on the VHS tape called The New Adventures of Fantastic Max: Movie Star Max. Why it was called The New Adventures is unclear.
