Behind the scenes
- The rancher's daughter, the Bandit, and Junior all went to the same school.
- This is the only appearance of El Kabong Jr, as he is never seen at all after this episode or mentioned for the rest of the series.
- In Daws Butler style, Junior's voice is that of a Jerry Lewis parody, though he sounds more like Baba Looey without his accent.
- Quick Draw does not see potential in Junior but Baba Looey thinks he's a perfect fit for El Kabong. Quick Draw even refers to his son as "no good".
- Junior is possibly a college student, as he went away to a fancy school before this episode.
Errors
- Grammatically speaking, the comma in the title card probably shouldn't be there.
- How would Junior know about his dad's inability to fight if he had been away for some time?
- Why is Quick Draw clearly elderly but Baba Looey isn't?
