Amigo and Friends is an American-Mexican animated educational comedy television series produced Hanna-Barbera for first-run syndication. It ran in 1982, airing 52 episodes in total that spanned one season. It was an adaptation of the Spanish-language Cantinflas Show in 1979 starring Mario Moreno Reyes, better known as Cantinflas, who played a caricature of himself. The Hanna-Barbera version was done in both English and Spanish dubs, with Reyes reprising his role for the latter.
Cantinflas was renamed Amigo in the English version, despite the fact all episode title cards still began with Cantinflas.
