Alan Young was a British-Canadian-American actor and comedian.

Young died on May 19, 2016 of natural causes at the age of 96.

Young was previously known for starring as Wilbur Post in the 1960s television sitcom Mister Ed. Beginning in 1974 for a Disneyland Records adaptation of A Christmas Carol, he was also notable for voicing the character of Scrooge McDuck in various animated projects, including the 1983 short film, Mickey's Christmas Carol, and the 1987 television series Ducktales. He continued to voice Scrooge in various media up until his death.
