Biography

Behind the scenes

  • In 1977, as part of the CB Bears series, Hanna-Barbera created their own take on the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner shorts called Blast-Off Buzzard, these shorts followed a similar premise, with Blast-Off Buzzard and Crazylegs baring similarities to Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.
  • Had Mixed Nutz not been cancelled, both characters would've appeared alongside the Hanna-Barbera characters in a series of crossover segments.

In popular culture

  • In celebration of Warner Bros.' 100th anniversary, Wile has a cameo in two special mashup shorts. The first one was of Looney Tunes/Scooby-Doo, with Wile being one of the endless stream of culprits when the ghost of Mr. Hyde had been unmasked; then in the Looney Tunes/Flintstones mashup, the Looney Tunes cast is living in Bedrock, with Wile wearing a full Dino suit.
