* Although this should be the first appearance of the monster, the episode may have been intended for season one, as a scene with the monster plays during the first song at the beginning of "[[The High School Wolfman's Musical Lament!]]"
* Fred refers to the hospital as Eastside General Hospital, despite the fact the sign only says Eastside Hospital.
* Kristen Schaal is clearly older than the gang in the present, but the flashback depicts her around the same age as them.
* Shaggy and Scooby react to the monster after opening the door, despite the fact both of them had their eyes closed.
* Schaal looks the same in her 8th grade photo.
* Big Bob's gray hair is lighter than it was when he last appeared.
