The Dukes is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera (H-B) for CBS's Saturday morning children's programming. It ran in 1983, airing 20 episodes. It was an animated spin-off of the live-action The Dukes of Hazzard TV series which also aired on CBS primetime from 1979 to 1985.

Casting

Byron Cherry, Christopher Mayer, Catherine Bach, Denver Pyle, James Best, and Sorrell Booke all reprised their roles from the aforementioned live-action TV series, except for the addition of Frank Welker. For the second season, Cherry and Mayer were replaced with Tom Wopat and John Schneider, who had originally starred in The Dukes of Hazzard, but left due to a salary dispute, only to come back once that had been settled, meaning the cartoon had to adapt to this change, too.
