Fred & Barney drive with a crying Egbert.

"The Babysitters" is the seventh episode of The Flinstones season one. It aired on November 11, 1966 on ABC. It was written by Warren Foster, Michael Maltese, and Arthur Phillips, the creators of the show, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joe Barbera, the co-founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Fred & Barney agree to babysit Egbert, forcing them to miss going to a boxing match. They try to watch it on TV, but troublesome Egbert makes that difficult.
