The Adventures of Don Coyote and Sancho Panda is an American animated adventure television series produced by Hanna-Barbera in association with RAI, for syndication on stations that took part in The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera programming block. It ran from 1990 to 1991, airing 26 episodes that spanned two seasons.
It is loosely based on the 17th century novelist Cervantes's characters of Don Quixote and his sidekick, Sancho Panza, who have been anthropomorphized into a coyote named Don Coyote and Sancho Panda, respectively. The two are would be chivalrous swordsmen, who travel the land seeking out injustice, although their quest is hampered by the delusional Don, whose either too stupid or mentally unstable to see the good guys are and who the bad guys are.
