I heard not long ago that there was a Superman comic from 2017 (written by Paul Dini) which explains that Mr. Mxyzptlk is the same person regardless of which medium or continuity he appears in. I was a bit hesitant to put it under his character article, since the ''Super Friends'' version of him existed years before this comic.
