"Space Monkey" is the seventeenth episode of Top Cat season one. It aired on January 24, 1962 on ABC. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the creators of the series and the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.

After learning about the luxuroius living conditions of a monkey awaiting to be launched into space, Top Cat's gang put themselves in a space program in the hopes of being put in the same lifestyle.
