Orville Richard Burrell, better known by his stage name of Shaggy, is a Jamaican rapper, singer, and songwriter. He performed his own take on "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?," called "Shaggy, Where Are You?," which was featured in the live-action film Scooby-Doo. In the alternate opening of the film, which is fully animated, the full song is used, while in the finished version, that opening was scrapped, and just the first couple of lines are used, instead, when the title card appears on-screen.

Behind the scenes

  • In the Drop the Mic episode "Hanson vs. Sam Richardson & Shaggy vs. Matthew Lillard," Matthew Lillard won a rap spar against Shaggy. During one of his raps, Lillard questioned why he's called Shaggy when he looks like Scooby (making his Shaggy voice when saying Scooby), to which Shaggy replies, "Really?" in Scooby's voice.
