Template:Infobox actor John Devon Roland Pertwee was a English actor, comedian, entertainer, cabaret performer and TV presenter, who voiced Spottyman in the UK version of The Further Adventures of SuperTed.
Pertwee died in his sleep from a heart attack on May 20, 1996, at the age of 76.

- Pertwee became famous for playing not one but two British icons. The first one was the third incarnation of the Doctor from the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, from 1970 to 1974, and the title character of Worzel Gummidge on ITV from 1979-1981, and again on Channel 4 when they revived it as Worzel Gummidge Down Under between 1987 to 1989. The 1996 TV movie of Doctor Who was dedicated to him.
