John Devon Roland Pertwee was an English actor, comedian, entertainer, cabaret performer and TV presenter, who voiced Spotty in the UK version of The Further Adventures of SuperTed.

Pertwee died in his sleep from a heart attack on May 20, 1996, at the age of 76.
