Gargamel is the main villain in the TV series The Smurfs. He was voiced by Paul Winchell.
Gargamel's goal in life is to kill the Smurfs in any way he can and to liquefy them into gold. He lives in a castle near the Smurfs' village, and has a pet cat named Azreal.
Behind the scenes
- Gargamel is very similar to Dick Dastardly, another character voiced by Winchell.
