Fruity Pebbles

Fruity Pebbles is part of a brand of breakfast cereal manufactured by Post Consumer Brands, based on the TV series The Flintstones. It began in the West Coast in 1969 as Pebbles, and went nationwide as Fruity Pebbles in October 1971.

It contains crisp rice cereal bits with a variety of fruit flavors and sugar.

Commercials usually revolve around Barney trying to steal Fred's Fruity Pebbles.

For the 50th anniversary in 2021, Post produced Fruity Pebbles-flavored cake and ice cream.

It had an in-universe "Stone Age" cameo in the 2000 live-action film The Flintstones in Viva Las Vegas.

• In the 2012 film The Magic of Belle Isle (also known as Once More), Monte buys a box of Fruity Pebbles at the groceries.
• In the The Goldbergs episode "The Ring," Adam says that Dana, his crush, smells like Fruity Pebbles.
