The Flintstones are a prehistoric family and the main characters of the Flintstones animated franchise. They live in the town of Bedrock and their next-door neighbors are the Rubbles.

In popular culture

• In the Moesha episode "Credit Card," Hakeem enters the Mitchell household and calls the family the Flintstones, as part of a recurring gag of Hakeem referring to the family as other families in pop culture. The scene is also used as part of a clip show in "Girls' Night In."
