"Cousin Tex" is the first episode of Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks season one, and came as a segment of The Huckleberry Hound Show. It aired on September 29, 1958 in first run syndication. It was written by Charles Shows and Dan Gordon, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
Cousin Tex comes to visit from Texas to see Pixie and Dixie, then after Jinks tries to get rid of him, he treats Jinks like a horse.
