Coil-Man, nicknamed Coil as a civilian, is a superhero/musician and one of the main characters in The Impossibles animated television shorts. His voice was originated by Hal Smith.

Character description

Coil-Man, in his hero form, has a spring coil in place of legs, which allows him to leap to great heights. He can use his coil as a drill. In "The Perilous Paper Doll," it is shown that he can turn himself into a coat hanger. However, he is susceptible to the pull of magnets and has been squashed flat at least once, but he can conduct heat to get himself back to normal. When Big D sends the Impossibles on a mission, he calls Coil on the neck of his guitar.
