On November 14, 2018, Tom Megalis posted on Instagram a photo of him recording lines for Captain Caveman.^[1]

It was copyrighted in 2019.

Music

The theme song "Big Bang" was written and performed by Mark Marek. The music was composed by Alessandro Tabora.

Behind the scenes

The episode title is a reference to the film Batman Begins.
Caveman is a new version of Captain Caveman, who is barely anything like the latter. Caveman isn't called Captain Caveman, he doesn't wear a loincloth, and he doesn't say his catchphrase, "Unga bunga." Caveman's body is revealed to be made entirely out of hair.
- This was intended to be the beginning of a three-episode arc, with Caveman visiting Bedrock then joining a circus where he would finally become Captain Caveman.^[2]

Errors

Grey Griffin is credited as Wiky, despite not appearing.
"Big Bang" is misspelled as "Bigbang."
