Behind the scenes
- The episode title is a play on the 1976 film A Star Is Born, although there were two other versions before this in 1937 and 1954 (as well as one that came after in 2018).
- Blossom and Jared played the leads in Greasey, The Wizard of Ooze, Hair Gel, East Side Story, and The Scary Ghost of the Opera which are parodies of musical films Grease, The Wizard of Oz, West Side Story, and The Phantom of the Opera.
